Arsenal To Move For Juventus Prodigy Giovinco

Arsenal are preparing a £5.9million (€7.5m) offer for Juventus starlet Sebastian Giovinco, but will face a fight from La Vecchia Signora, who do not want to sell their talented midfielder, according to Calciomercato.

The Gunners have been tracking 21-year-old Giovinco for a while now and the Juve Youth Academy product has been in sublime form for Le Zebre. With Juve boss Claudio Ranieri seeing the youngster as the heir to Czech legend Pavel Nedved.

Giovinco has attracted interest in Serie A from the likes of Palermo, but Juventus have so far resisted any advances for one of the brightest young talents in Italian football and is currently displaying his skills at the 2008 Bejing Olympics.

However, Calciomercato claim that Arsenal will test the resolve of the Turin side with a £5.9million (€7.5m) offer to lure the player known as ‘The Atom’ to the Emirates Stadium.

In se la notizia non ci allarmerebbe se non fosse per il fatto che l'importo dell'offerta, 7.5 Milioni di Euro, in un'altra occasione (i.e. svendita di Nocerino al Palermo) ha procurato picchi di eccitazione nei liquidatori di Corso Galfer culminati in veri e propri orgasmi di fronte alla prospettiva di incassare l'importo della svendita diluito in 3 anni...
